Job Responsibilities- Delivering compassionate nursing care as a Practical Nursing Specialist in post-acute care settings
- Monitoring residents' physical and mental health, including vital signs
- Conducting resident intakes and documenting medical histories and concerns
- Assisting with medication administration and verification, tracking usage and effects
- Creating a comfortable and safe environment for residents
- Maintaining accurate medical records and charts
- Assisting with IV setups, immunizations, and phlebotomy tasks
- Managing medical supplies and ensuring proper inventory
- Adhering to resident care plans and being accountable for their implementation
- Collaborating with staff to orient and train new team members
- Current state license to practice as a Practical Nursing Specialist
- Completion of an accredited Practical Nursing educational program
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Minimum of 6 months of experience in a similar role
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs
