Industrial Controls Technician

Do you excel at troubleshooting complex systems and collaborating with engineers to achieve optimal results?

Selectek has a full-time opportunity for a skilled Industrial Controls Technician to join a dynamic team. You'll play a vital role in supporting our Integration Engineers at client sites across the Atlanta area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate effectively with Integration Engineers to troubleshoot, commission, and maintain control systems.
  • Diagnose and resolve control system issues, ensuring efficient operation.
  • Clearly communicate technical information to both internal and external stakeholders, maintaining a professional demeanor.
  • Be prepared for local travel with occasional overnight stays (up to 30% non-local travel possible).
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial electrical work.
  • Strong understanding of PLC programming (RSLogix 5000, Studio 5000, or similar).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to stay calm under pressure.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean record.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
  • Passport eligibility and willingness to pass a background check and drug screenings.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with AutoCAD.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering or a related field.
