Job Overview

The Remote Operations Manager will enhance customer satisfaction by spearheading operational excellence and process optimization for the Fleet Support division while overseeing our contractual obligations. This position requires strategic thinking and exceptional execution skills to foster advancements in Remote Monitoring and Diagnostics, including the development of comprehensive diagnostic services, data sharing strategies with lessors, and simplification of Third Party Agreements. You will also be responsible for managing the FLIGHT DECK operational rhythms across Remote Monitoring and Diagnostics teams as well as the broader Fleet Support organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee Fleet Support contract processes, ensuring execution, flow down, and fulfillment, including leadership during on-site customer audits.
  • Manage business processes and execution for Entry Into Service (EIS) of Tier 2 clients.
  • Develop and refine business strategies while applying FLIGHT DECK principles to enhance process improvement, consistency, and best practices in your area of responsibility.
  • Coordinate with internal Sales/Marketing and Joint Venture partners on diagnostics contract strategies, service value propositions, and customer engagement initiatives.
  • Establish, develop, and monitor key performance indicators to promote operational excellence throughout the Fleet Support organization.
  • Manage third-party suppliers involved in process execution.
  • Communicate process initiatives and team performance metrics to senior management.
  • Utilize Voice of Customer (VOC) feedback from external clients and internal teams to refine customer engagement and support strategies aimed at maximizing satisfaction.
  • Oversee the ARINC contract for the transmission of ACARS data.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and a minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering operations (or a high school diploma/GED with an additional 4+ years of engineering operations experience).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proven experience with FLIGHT DECK / LEAN / Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Experience in a strategic role that requires influencing skills to achieve objectives across a matrix organization.
  • Background in commercial or product support roles within the aviation sector.
  • Experience collaborating directly with customers and their leadership teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve complex issues.
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis and business intelligence visualization tools.
  • Proven track record of leading programs and projects.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities.
  • Capability to guide and influence others effectively.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven.
