Role Summary
We are seeking a knowledgeable Academic Mentor who will work closely with students to guide them through their academic journey. This role involves one-on-one support in preparing for standardized tests such as the ACT and SAT, as well as tutoring in various academic subjects. Our mentors play a crucial role in fostering the overall development of our students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized tutoring sessions focused on ACT and SAT preparation.
- Assist students in mastering high school subjects, including algebra, geometry, and precalculus.
- Mentor students throughout their high school experience, offering guidance and support.
- Conduct in-person tutoring sessions as required.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree is required.
- Experience in tutoring for the ACT and/or SAT is essential.
- Ability to meet students in person for tutoring sessions.
- Expertise in high school mathematics and additional subjects is preferred.
- Flexible availability, primarily during evenings and weekends.
- Access to reliable internet and transportation.
