El Científico Senior en Desarrollo de Materiales es responsable de colaborar de manera transversal con Compradores Comerciales, Proveedores, Desarrollo de Productos y Suministro para identificar nuevas oportunidades de ingredientes que son fundamentales para cumplir con un diseño de producto específico.
Este rol se encarga de impulsar estos ingredientes a través del proceso de calificación y aprobación, asegurando que se evalúen adecuadamente en relación con cualquier riesgo para el bienestar animal o la calidad del producto.
También desarrollará Especificaciones de Ingredientes, lo que incluye identificar los atributos clave de los ingredientes que deben incluirse en dicha Especificación.¿Qué buscamos? Requisitos Mínimos:
Licenciatura en Nutrición Animal, Ciencia de Alimentos, Tecnología de Alimentos o equivalente.
0-3 años de experiencia en la industria alimentaria en investigación y desarrollo.
Experiencia en funcionalidad/calidad de ingredientes alimentarios, preferiblemente en proteínas animales.
Calificaciones Preferidas:
Título Avanzado en Nutrición Animal, Ciencia de Alimentos, Tecnología de Alimentos o campo técnico relacionado.
¿Cuáles serán sus responsabilidades clave?
- Colaborar con proveedores de la industria y compradores comerciales para identificar ingredientes que puedan satisfacer las necesidades del diseño del producto.
- Identificación de nuevas oportunidades de ingredientes para ofrecer ahorros de costos al negocio, manteniendo o mejorando la calidad del producto.
- Evaluar nuevos ingredientes en busca de peligros conocidos y asegurar que se implementen controles para minimizar el riesgo de esos peligros.
- Utilizar el entendimiento y conocimiento vinculado al portafolio de ingredientes de materias primas en todas las aplicaciones relevantes y ser el punto de contacto técnico clave dentro del negocio.
- Aprovechar su conocimiento de ingredientes para ayudar a establecer estrategias e identificar formas de mejorar atributos clave del producto y posibles ahorros.
- Responsable de evaluar y gestionar los ingredientes actuales en nuestro portafolio para asegurar la producción de productos de alta calidad y nutritivos.
- Asegurar que las nuevas oportunidades de ingredientes estén alineadas con las partes interesadas relevantes dentro de la función de I+D.
- Apoyar en la alineación y gestión de partes interesadas externas a I+D.
- Influir y/o desarrollar estrategias técnicas y mejores prácticas.
- Responsable de redactar Especificaciones de Ingredientes.
