About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Specialist to join our dynamic team at Jobot. As a Quality Control Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that our construction projects meet the highest standards of quality.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement quality control processes and procedures to ensure that all construction projects meet the highest standards of quality.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits of construction sites to identify potential quality issues and take corrective action as necessary.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other construction professionals to ensure quality control measures are understood and followed.
  • Review construction plans and specifications to ensure they meet quality standards and comply with all relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • Document and report on quality control activities, providing regular updates to management and stakeholders.
  • Investigate and resolve any issues, non-conformities, or defects identified during quality control checks.
  • Train and mentor team members on quality control procedures and best practices, fostering a culture of quality throughout the organization.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, new technologies, and advancements in the field of quality control in construction.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a quality control role within the construction industry.
  • Proven experience in coordinating quality control processes and procedures.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, standards, and regulations.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and resolve quality issues effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team and liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in using quality control software and tools, as well as standard office software.
  • A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is highly desirable.
