Position: Facility Maintenance Specialist
Compensation: $25 - $32 per hour
Join our dedicated team as a Facility Maintenance Specialist, where you will be pivotal in managing both urgent repairs during operations and routine preventive maintenance on machinery, equipment, and facility infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include adhering to a detailed preventive maintenance schedule, conducting essential facility upkeep, and ensuring all equipment functions efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities- Review equipment manuals and interpret work orders to effectively diagnose issues.
- Replace or repair parts and make necessary adjustments to machinery.
- Utilize a computerized Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Work Request System to manage and document your work.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Proficiency as a Maintenance Technician.
- Experience with 480-volt electrical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in using hand and power tools.
- Effective communication and reporting skills.
Available shifts include 1st Shift (5 AM - 1 PM), 2nd Shift (1 PM - 9 PM), and 3rd Shift (9 PM - 1 AM), with a particular emphasis on skilled technicians for the 3rd Shift. The work environment is clean, well-organized, and well-lit, providing a comfortable atmosphere conducive to productivity. Casual dress is permitted, including gym shoes and required eye protection.
