About the Role

In this key position, you will be responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience, ensuring the store appears clean and organized, and performing daily operational tasks as assigned by the store leadership team.

Responsibilities
  • Customer Experience:
    • Create a memorable and personalized shopping experience for every customer.
    • Ensure that all customers receive a high level of service, exceeding expectations whenever possible.
    • Become knowledgeable about our products and services, enabling you to provide informed advice to customers.
    • Develop strong relationships with customers, encouraging repeat business and positive word-of-mouth.
  • Operations:
    • Oversee the maintenance of the store's appearance and cleanliness, ensuring a welcoming environment for customers.
    • Effectively operate our point-of-sale system once trained, processing transactions accurately and efficiently.
    • Execute inventory and merchandising duties as directed, ensuring optimal store displays and stock levels.
    • Participate in daily operational tasks, contributing to the smooth running of the store.
  • Teamwork:
    • Demonstrate reliability and punctuality, respecting the schedules of colleagues and store leaders.
    • Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve shared goals and objectives.
    • Communicate respectfully, honestly, and effectively with colleagues and management.
    • Support your teammates, fostering a positive and inclusive store culture.
What We're Looking For
  • Retail and/or customer service experience (an asset).
  • Availability to work weekends (a must).
  • Passion for Allbirds' mission, vision, and products (a must).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Will to learn and grow.
  • High level of reliability and punctuality.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs regularly and stand for 95% of the workday.
Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this role is $16 per hour. In addition to competitive pay, we offer benefits like paid time off, equity, company bonus or sales commissions/bonuses, 401(k) plan with matching, medical, dental, and vision benefits, pre-tax savings, and wellness & lifestyle benefits.
