Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Scientist to join our team at San Diego State University's Building Research Initiatives Advancing Global Health Equity (BRIDGE). The successful candidate will contribute to ongoing research focused on improving the health of individuals and populations in low-resourced contexts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and support scientific dissemination efforts, including manuscript development and data analysis.
  • Assist principal investigators with research design, data collection, and data analysis.
  • Contribute to grant writing and research proposal development.
  • Supervise graduate students and research staff.
  • Collaborate with international researchers and stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Ph.D. in public health, epidemiology, or a related field.
  • Experience in qualitative and quantitative research methods, research design, and statistical analysis.
  • Strong scientific writing and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
