About the Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Solar Power Plant Technician to join our team at Enel North America. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining, testing, and troubleshooting electrical equipment at our solar PV power plants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Test, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical equipment, including AC and DC circuits, motors, and electrical switchgear.
  • Perform preventative and predictive maintenance activities to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with site managers and lead technicians to schedule and prioritize maintenance tasks.
  • Conduct current and voltage readings as necessary to ensure equipment is functioning within safe parameters.
  • Develop and implement reliability-based maintenance philosophies to improve equipment performance and reduce maintenance costs.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 0-3 years of experience in electrical maintenance or a related field.
  • TX Electricians License.
  • Availability for daily regional travel to job sites as needed.
  • A valid driver's license operable in all 50 states and Canada, and a clean driving record.
