Financial Reporting Manager

**About the Role**

Collins Elevator Service Inc is seeking a skilled Financial Reporting Manager to document the company's financial transactions, prepare financial statements, and manage project accounting. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and has a strong understanding of best practices in accounting.

**Responsibilities**

* Enter financial data and transactions accurately and efficiently
* Analyze budgets and other financial information to identify trends and areas for improvement
* Reconcile bank statements to ensure accuracy and completeness
* Prepare financial reports and statements that meet regulatory requirements
* Verify the accuracy of transactions that have been entered
* Process accounts payable and accounts receivable in a timely manner
* Responsible for all Construction Project Accounting
* Create accounting policies to comply with all rules and regulations
* Process payroll and desktop deposits

**Requirements**

* Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
* Previous experience as an accountant, bookkeeper, or similar position
* Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
* Highly skilled with spreadsheets, pivot tables, and experienced in Microsoft Excel, Great Plains, and accounting systems
* Strong mathematical and analytical skills
* Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills
