Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement data quality initiatives to ensure data accuracy and consistency
  • Develop and maintain metadata management policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with data creators to support project planning and training
  • Contribute to the development of data management strategies and continuous improvement goals
  • Lead communication across various lines of business and technology partners to monitor and collect business data requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in software engineering, electrical engineering, computer engineering, or a related field
  • 3 years of experience in data design, data quality, metadata management, data governance, or data architecture
  • Experience with end-to-end data lifecycle, ETL development, and data technology products such as AWS and Data Lakes
  • Proficiency in software development languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, C++, Scala, etc.

Telecommuting and Travel:

The Data Specialist will be required to work 2 days a week from home and travel less than 20% domestically, with occasional international travel.
