We are seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow Administrator to join our team at Insight Global in Charlotte, NC. This hybrid role will involve working two days in-office and three days remotely during the week. The successful candidate will provide support and configuration for packaged and custom applications, ensure best practices and standards are being followed, make suggestions for improving the development process, and perform day-to-day administration of the ServiceNow platform.

About the Role

">

This position includes configuration, designing, coding, testing, correcting, and documenting complex programs and scripts from agreed specifications, and subsequent iterations, using agreed standards and tools, to achieve a well-engineered result. The Administrator is also responsible for acting as a ServiceNow subject matter expert amongst an application development team to ensure delivery of applications based on detailed specifications.

The Ideal Candidate

">

We are looking for someone with 3+ years of experience on the ServiceNow tool (heavy platform administration and configuration experience). The ideal candidate should have demonstrated ability with ServiceNow incident, change, problem, request, CMDB, and knowledge management applications.

Responsibilities

  1. ">
  2. Design, code, test, deploy, maintain, enhance, and support software systems">
  3. Work with business customers and IT business analysts in translating requirements into plans and specifications">
  4. Work in a team-based environment, communicating effectively with all levels of staff and management">
  5. Identify business and system requirements">
  6. Produce design and other technical documentation">
  7. Design and code reviews for components produced by self and other teams">
  8. Provide work estimates to project team and lead">
  9. Provide technical leadership, coaching, and mentoring to team members">
  10. Out-of-the-box and custom development, configuration, and testing, including developing customizations in ServiceNow to meet project objectives and business needs">

  • Working knowledge of User Interface (UI) policies, data policies, UI actions, business rules, and client scripts">
  • Experience with MID servers, web services, email, and other relevant technology to integrate tools with the ServiceNow platform">
  • Experience in ServiceNow Platform Security - users, groups, and roles">
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow Update Sets and source control">
  • ITIL Foundation knowledge">
  • ServiceNow implementation experience">
  • Working knowledge on other ITSM platforms (i.e. Cherwell)">
  • Knowledge of application deployment through CI/CD process">
  • Experience on integration with Power Platform">
