Job Title: Clinical Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Assistant to join our team at DHR Health. As a Clinical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with direct patient care under the supervision of a licensed nurse
  • Perform various clerical and receptionist duties for an assigned nursing unit
  • Transcribe physicians' orders and maintain patient charts
  • Answer phones and route calls to the appropriate parties
  • Assist with CNA duties when the unit is short-staffed
Requirements:
  • High School graduate or G.E.D. certificate required
  • Current CNA certification required
  • Current BLS/CPR certification required
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with all levels of nursing, administration, and physicians
Working Conditions:

The Clinical Assistant will spend over 95% of their time in an air-conditioned environment with varying exposures to noise. There is protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes.

This position has minimal to no exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues and is an OSHA Category III.
