Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to provide clinical and administrative support to our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical procedures, anatomy, and physiology, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical support to healthcare providers, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for exams, and administering injections.
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, managing medical records, and communicating with patients and families.
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient use of resources.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest medical procedures and technologies.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; completion of a Medical Assistant program or equivalent experience preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; MA certification by a California Medical Board recognized agency preferred.
- 1 year of recent relevant experience in a healthcare setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and work in a fast-paced environment.
