Role Overview

We're seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant to join our team as a part-time clinician. As a key member of our post-acute therapy team, you'll work closely with physical, occupational, and speech therapists to optimize rehabilitative outcomes and promote patient independence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide specialized Physiatry/PM&R services as a rehab consultant
  • Represent CRC in your facility through strong clinical leadership and collaboration
  • Manage conditions common in SNFs, including CVA, progressive neurological conditions, and postoperative orthopedic surgeries
  • Work alongside PT, OT, and SLP teams to improve patient function and quality of life
  • Follow skilled therapy patients to track their progress in therapy
  • Assess and manage barriers to therapy, including joint or neuropathic pain, spasticity, neurogenic bowel, and neurogenic bladder
  • Become an integral part of the SNF team by attending multidisciplinary meetings and bridging the gap between therapy and internal medicine

Requirements
  • Nurse Practitioner/APRN/PA License
  • Missouri License
  • Ability to work in the U.S.
  • Experience in post-acute space preferred
  • A great attitude and desire to deliver the best patient care
