Position Overview

Are you ready to join a dynamic team and enhance your expertise in logistics? This role is designed to support the PMA-242 Direct and Time Sensitive Strike Weapons Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Advanced Precision and Kill Weapon System (APKWS) Program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Senior Logistics Manager and collaborate with the Program Office APML/Deputies and LEMs across all facets of Integrated Product Support (IPS) elements.
  • Provide support to Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) for various organizations, including Individual Material Readiness List, Systems Engineering, Propulsion and Power, Technical Data, and more.
  • Engage in tasks related to the development, operation, assessment, and enhancement of weapon systems supportability and maintainability initiatives and information systems.
  • Collaborate with logistics and maintenance control organizations on matters such as:
    • Technical assessment and identification of logistics requirements and resources for weapon systems
    • Creation of logistics support and maintainability strategies or plans
    • Analysis of systems acquisition requirements
    • Financial analysis and budgetary control
    • Standardization and compatibility of hardware and software for weapon systems
    • Planning and execution of IPS/Reliability & Maintainability (R&M) program testing and evaluation
    • Management analysis of IPS/R&M programs
  • Gather, compile, analyze, investigate, research, or apply logistics, maintenance, acquisition, or financial data and information.
  • Develop, modify, prepare, or validate documentation related to automated logistics or maintenance data reporting systems and management information systems.
Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Acquisition, Logistics Management, Business, Engineering, or Management.

Experience:

  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience in operational logistics support or maintenance engineering.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience in technical analysis of operational IPS requirements.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of specific experience in operational logistics planning, demonstrating the ability to conduct IPS studies, analyses, and evaluations in support of Department of Defense (DOD) weapon systems and equipment.
