Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support and maintenance for customer telecommunication equipment
  • Operate and maintain customer telecommunication systems, including LAN/WAN systems, message processing systems, and network systems
  • Administer small local area networks and troubleshoot technical issues
  • Act as the Officer-In-Charge of the communications facility and provide leadership and guidance to team members
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements and new technologies
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and procedures
  • Provide training and support to team members on technical procedures and processes

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience in telecommunications and information systems installation, operation, and maintenance
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as telecommunications or computer science
  • Considerable knowledge of managing the installation, configuring, operating, testing, troubleshooting, and maintaining of field unique automated information systems, transmission systems, and infrastructure support systems
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/Secret Clearance with Polygraph

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience working in hazardous or dangerous areas
  • Working knowledge of existing customer regulations and policies
  • Training and certification in first-line customer support and overseas security requirements
  • Knowledge of customer equipment and experience in telecommunications and information systems installation, operation, and maintenance
