Bus Monitor Assistant

Job Summary: The Bus Monitor is responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of children on the bus. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and monitor children at all times while on the bus, intervene appropriately to prevent disruptions, and maintain a clean and organized bus environment. Essential Functions: Ability to manage a large group of small children, knowledge of transportation safety guidelines, and ability to follow instructions with minimal supervision. Skills & Qualifications: Must have a high school education, be at least 18 years old, and have knowledge of young children. Ability to work effectively with diverse groups, maintain positive relationships, and be punctual and reliable. Must have a suitable CORI, SORI & DCF background check and First Aid/CPR Certification. Travel: Required for training and visits to other locations. Physical Demands: This position requires standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Work Environment: This job operates in a professional office environment using standard office equipment.
