We are collaborating with a prominent construction firm to find a Mechanical Construction Supervisor. Below is the detailed description of the role.

Essential Qualifications for the Mechanical Construction Supervisor:

#1. A minimum of 5 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.

#2. Proficient in reading and interpreting construction plans and specifications, with the ability to spot discrepancies.

#3. Experience in civil/site work, including concrete, steel, building envelope, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing).

#4. No more than 3 positions held in the last decade.

Key Responsibilities:

  • At least five years of relevant experience in managing industrial construction projects, showcasing problem-solving skills, effective communication, and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Experience working collaboratively with manufacturing clients in diverse settings.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction documents, identifying and addressing inconsistencies.
  • Experience with civil/site work, including concrete, steel, building envelope, and MEP.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • A proactive mindset and a commitment to being a vital part of a small-firm environment, with adaptability to changing situations.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and coordinate the activities of general contractors on-site for assigned projects, managing the performance of the on-site team.

Additional Requirements:

  • 100% in-office work.
  • Primarily local travel during business hours, with potential out-of-state travel for project coordination.
  • No sponsorships or visa holders. No Corp-to-Corp arrangements.
