Job Summary

The Executive Director - Healthcare Operations will serve as the Administrator of the entire home health provider, overseeing the day-to-day operations and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care services. This includes coordinating and completing assigned projects, supervising staff, and implementing administrative practices to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Leadership: Direct and oversee the day-to-day operations of the provider, ensuring the delivery of safe, economical, and efficient patient care services.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and ensure high-quality patient care services throughout the episode of care, including referral coordination, patient needs assessment, and plan of care development and implementation.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with staff, patients, and families to ensure informed decision-making and high-quality care delivery.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, Joint Commission standards, and payer source criteria.
  • Performance Improvement: Develop and implement plans of correction, monitor and assess employee performance, and oversee annual Performance Improvement Projects.
  • Business Development: Assist with staff recruitment, operate within the staffing model, and drive operational metrics to ensure the organization meets company goals related to operational efficiency, growth, quality, and finances.
  • Emergency Response: Act as Emergency Coordinator during emergencies and ensure appropriate plan execution.
  • Customer Service: Work with external customers to represent the agency, investigate concerns, and follow up with complainants to ensure satisfaction with the resolution of complaints.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Registered nurse with at least 1 year supervisory or administrative experience in a home healthcare or a related field.
  • Certifications and Licenses: Current CPR certification required, current driver's license, and vehicle insurance.
