Professional Resident Care Specialist

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides routine resident care and support services, working under the guidance of registered nurses and physicians. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
You will be responsible for:
- Maintaining current CPR certification and adhering to safety policies and procedures.
- Providing direct resident care, including activities of daily living such as bathing, feeding, dressing, transporting, toileting, and ambulating residents.
- Responding to resident needs and calls in a timely manner, while maintaining an environment conducive to resident safety and recovery.
A successful candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, knowledge of body mechanics and transfer techniques, and effective communication skills. They will also possess basic life support (BLS) certification, certified nursing assistant (CNA) licensure, Act 34 clearance, and OAPSA certification.
In this role, you will contribute to the efficient functioning of the department, assuming responsibility for assignments and viewing problems as challenges. You will demonstrate awareness of behavior that impacts the department's efficiency and provide feedback to RNs/LPNs regarding resident care.
