Job Overview:
A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is a vital member of the healthcare team at UPMC, working closely with registered nurses and licensed practical nurses to provide exceptional care to residents. Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality care to residents, including bathing, dressing, feeding, transporting, toileting, and ambulating residents, as directed by the nursing staff.
  • Conduct regular safety checks to identify potential hazards and take proactive steps to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues, promoting a culture of respect and compassion.
  • Stay up-to-date with changing policies and procedures, participating in ongoing education and training to enhance your skills and knowledge.
