Position Overview

We are seeking an all-source intelligence analyst to contribute to our operations at USSPACECOM J2/JIOC. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, enjoys conducting thorough research, and proactively identifies new areas for in-depth analysis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct research and analysis utilizing intelligence and information from diverse sources to evaluate, interpret, predict, and clarify a variety of national security matters and developments.
  • Provide all-source analytical support for collection efforts, operational needs, and other defense intelligence requirements.
  • Structure analysis based on reporting trends and a wide range of analytical viewpoints from various analysts, organizations, and intelligence fields.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision, engaging in and fulfilling analysis and production tasks.
  • Collaborate with DEFSMAC and NASIC to enhance information sharing, drive collection efforts, and resolve analytical disputes.
  • Develop clear, insightful, and comprehensive intelligence products, contributing to presentations for senior leadership briefings.
  • Salary ranges from $90,000 to $94,000.

Required Qualifications

  • Possession of TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph, or willingness to obtain a CI poly if not currently held.
  • A minimum of three years of all-source intelligence experience along with a bachelor's degree, or seven years of experience without a bachelor's degree.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment background investigation is mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Desired Experience: At least eight years of analytical experience, with a portion of that experience within the last two years.
  • Desired Education: A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
  • Familiarity with DIA production guidelines and dissemination processes is advantageous.
  • Experience or familiarity with USSPACECOM or its components and the space mission is preferred.
