Job SummaryWe are seeking a passionate and dedicated Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team. As a per diem OT Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic and supportive team, providing comprehensive treatment to patients under the supervision of an OTR.
Responsibilities- Provide treatment to patients under the supervision of an OTR and according to state guidelines.
- Assist OT in identifying patients and referring them to rehab accordingly.
- Document patient participation and progress on progress notes in a timely and accurate manner.
- Ensure MD orders are obtained for treatments, re-certifications, and discharges.
- Assist with other documentation requirements as indicated and according to state guidelines.
- Graduate of an accredited college with a BA or associate degree in Occupational Therapy recognized by the AOTA.
- Recognized by the NBCOT as a designated COTA (if state mandated).
- COTA holds a current license and/or registration as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant in-state as applicable.
