Job Summary

The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the University of Vermont is seeking an academic anatomic pathologist with expertise in pediatric and perinatal pathology for a full-time faculty appointment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide diagnostic pathology for patients in Vermont, upstate New York, and New Hampshire, resulting in a total of 45,000 surgical pathology specimens annually.
  • Engage in the education and mentoring of medical students, residents, and fellows in general surgical pathology, dermatopathology, cytopathology, and hematopathology.
  • Pursue scholarly activities and participation in clinical and/or basic science research with emphasis placed on wellness and protected academic time.
Qualifications
  • Board eligibility or certification in Anatomic Pathology.
  • Fellowship training or demonstrated experience in pediatric pathology.
  • Commitment to educational, scholarly, and clinical excellence.
