Academic Surgical Pathologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Academic Surgical and Pulmonary Pathologist to join our team at the University of Vermont. As a key member of our Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, you will be responsible for providing diagnostic pathology services, engaging in educational and research activities, and contributing to the academic excellence of our institution.
Key Responsibilities- Provide diagnostic pathology services for surgical specimens, including pulmonary pathology cases
- Participate in multidisciplinary conferences and collaborative research projects
- Engage in educational activities, including teaching medical students, residents, and fellows
- Pursue scholarly activities and participate in clinical and/or basic science research
- Board eligibility or certification in Anatomic Pathology
- Demonstrated interest and/or experience in pulmonary pathology
- Commitment to educational, scholarly, and clinical excellence
