Role Responsibilities:
The Cybersecurity Red Team Specialist employs a diverse array of techniques and tools to identify vulnerabilities and weaknesses within systems. This includes conducting adversary simulations, black box penetration testing, and assumed breach scenarios to provide actionable recommendations for identified vulnerabilities. Additionally, this role involves gathering threat intelligence and aligning it with known adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs).


Essential Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in managing penetration testing and red teaming assessments.
  • Possession of T-4 Public Trust clearance is mandatory.
  • Certification such as OSCP or C|EH is required.
  • Proficient in executing offensive security testing.
  • Experience in conducting red or purple teaming exercises.
  • Familiarity with using, administering, and troubleshooting Kali and Ubuntu as attack platforms.
  • Experience in Windows environments and Active Directory attack path enumeration.
  • Knowledge of social engineering tactics, including phishing.
  • Experience in developing, extending, or modifying exploits, shellcode, or exploit tools.
  • Familiarity with command and control frameworks such as Cobalt Strike, Covenant, or Sliver.
  • Understanding of network vulnerability assessments, web application security testing, network penetration testing, red teaming, security operations, mobile applications, APIs, cloud-hosted applications, containers, and on-premises data centers.
  • Experience in network penetration testing and manipulation of network infrastructure.
  • Working knowledge of mobile or web application assessments.
  • Experience in security testing of web applications, mobile applications, APIs, cloud-hosted applications, containers, and on-premises data centers.
  • Ability to maintain regular communication with teams to manage remediation efforts and provide guidance as needed.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Capacity to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude and delivering exceptional customer service.
