Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team at Omm IT Solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security engineering and a passion for staying up-to-date with the latest security threats and technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform security audits, risk analysis, and vulnerability testing to identify and mitigate potential security threats.
  • Develop and implement technical solutions to enhance the security of our systems and applications.
  • Conduct research to identify new attack vectors and stay ahead of emerging security threats.
Requirements
  • Active or expired IRS MBI Clearance is required.
  • Minimum five years of experience as a security engineer in a product-centric environment.
  • Strong understanding of security-related Java experience, including JDK 1.8/11, HTTP Filters, and Security.
  • Experience with white-hat hacking and fundamental computer science concepts is strongly desired.
Essential Skills
  • Security-related Java experience (JDK 1.8/11, HTTP Filters, Security, JUnit).
  • Spring Security, specifically related to Spring Boot and Spring Security for secure application development.
  • Cybersecurity Tools, including BurpSuite, Nessus, Nmap, Wireshark, AppScan, and Exploitdb.
  • DevOps Security, including Jenkins, SonarQube, Nexus IQ, Kubernetes, AWS, and Bash scripting.
  • Persistence Knowledge, including a basic understanding of databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL) with an emphasis on security implications.
  • Microservices and Containerization, including experience with secure design patterns and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes, ISTIO).
  • Familiarity with Agile processes.
