About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Solutions Architect to join our team at Amazon. As a key member of our AWS Solutions team, you will be responsible for designing and building scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures and solutions for our customers.

As a trusted customer advocate, you will work closely with customers, developers, and the open-source community to design and deploy serverless application workloads on the AWS Cloud. You will translate best practices defined in the Serverless Lens of the AWS Well-Architected Framework into utilities that simplify the integration of best practices throughout the development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and build scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures and solutions for customers
  • Work closely with customers, developers, and the open-source community to design and deploy serverless application workloads on the AWS Cloud
  • Translate best practices defined in the Serverless Lens of the AWS Well-Architected Framework into utilities that simplify the integration of best practices throughout the development lifecycle
  • Develop and maintain the Powertools for AWS Lambda project, contributing to its codebase in Python, TypeScript, Java, or.NET
  • Engage with customers to understand their serverless application requirements and provide guidance on implementing best practices using Powertools for AWS Lambda
  • Contribute to the open-source community by participating in discussions, addressing issues, and reviewing pull requests related to the project
  • Promote the adoption of Powertools for AWS Lambda by creating documentation, tutorials, workshops, or demos at customer events
  • Mentor and guide developers and architects in implementing serverless best practices and leveraging Powertools for AWS Lambda effectively
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards
About the Team

The Powertools Solution Architects team belongs to the AGS Tech Acceleration Solutions (TAS) global organization. TAS is focused on improving builder productivity and accelerating customer adoption through automated tools and dashboards and emerging technologies.

As an incubation organization, TAS has the mission to curate and transition successful products and solutions to permanent AWS teams for ongoing support and enhancement, while continuously exploring opportunities to build new productivity and acceleration offerings for customers and internal stakeholders.
