Job Overview

The Therapist Coordinator at Adelbrook Community Services Inc. plays a vital role in providing individualized care and support to residents in our Therapeutic Group Home.

Responsibilities
  1. Conduct pre-placement visits and evaluations to ensure the suitability of individuals referred for admission to our program.
  2. Oversee the intake process, ensuring completion of all necessary paperwork and setup of individual files in our Electronic Health Record system.
  3. Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans for each assigned resident on caseload, including psychosocial assessments.
  4. Collaborate with the treatment team to coordinate implementation of treatment plans and maintain a therapeutic milieu.
  5. Provide individual, group, and family therapies as well as participate in psychiatric rounds for each resident.
  6. Foster community involvement by facilitating participation in groups and school activities.

This is a full-time, exempt position that reports directly to the Director of Therapeutic Group Homes administratively and the Supervisor of Clinical Services clinically.

Requirements
  • A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work or related field from an accredited institution is required; clinical license preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with other agency employees, community service organizations, DCF, and DDS.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

The estimated salary for this position is $65,000-$80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
