Project Involvement:
Our transportation engineering projects encompass:

  • Corridor design
  • Highway framework studies and Intersection Justification Reports (IJRs)
  • Design of signalized and roundabout intersections
  • Revitalization projects for downtown transportation
  • Roadway and highway design
  • Transit system design
  • Stormwater management design

Your Responsibilities:
In this role, you will:

  • Define project goals, policies, procedures, and performance metrics.
  • Develop and implement project work plans, adjusting as necessary to meet evolving requirements.
  • Identify necessary resources and assign responsibilities to team members.
  • Oversee daily operational aspects of projects and scopes.
  • Foster and maintain relationships with clients to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Set and manage client expectations, effectively communicating to identify needs and evaluate options during project challenges.
  • Represent the firm in project meetings and facilitate team and client discussions.
  • Supervise project staff and ensure adherence to quality assurance and quality control processes.
  • Prepare and finalize project documentation, including drafting reports in collaboration with team members.

Qualifications:
We are looking for candidates who possess:

  • A strong commitment to service, communication, creativity, and high-quality outcomes.
  • A Professional Engineering (PE) license and a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field.
  • A minimum of 4 years of relevant transportation engineering experience.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or MicroStation 3D; experience with Civil 3D and/or InRoads is a plus.
  • Independence and initiative in project execution.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • The ability to organize tasks and delegate effectively.
  • A balanced approach combining logic and creativity.
