About the Role:

Spherion is seeking a skilled Machining Technician to join our team. As a Machining Technician at Spherion, you will be responsible for:

  • Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Troubleshoot and maintain machines, and work with repair contractors and machine manufacturers for proper machine repairs.
  • Setup and Operations: Work as setup on new part to assure parts are setup the way it is planned.
  • Quality Control: Read blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work pieces, sequence of operations, and setup requirements.
  • Machine Monitoring: Start and observe machine operations to detect malfunctions or out of tolerance machining.

Requirements:

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and drawings.
  • Experience with machine maintenance and repair.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
