The Health and Safety Manager will oversee the implementation of safety policies and procedures throughout the organization to ensure adherence to all relevant local, state, and federal regulations. This role involves fostering strong relationships with internal stakeholders to enhance trust and drive improvements in safety performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develops and executes programs to guarantee compliance with all pertinent local, state, and federal safety regulations, including documentation, reporting, training, and program creation.
  • Identifies and maintains systems and processes aimed at continuous enhancement of safety performance and compliance activities.
  • Evaluates safety metrics and provides leadership with precise reporting and metrics to support organizational safety initiatives and rationalize the allocation of resources to areas with the highest safety risks.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in safety, ergonomics, or a related discipline is mandatory
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in safety programs within manufacturing or industrial sectors.
  • Comprehensive understanding of local, state, and federal regulatory requirements in California.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with Directors and VPs.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Experience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment is essential.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
