Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Patient Navigator to join our team at the University of Miami Health System. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.

UHealth-University of Miami Health System is South Florida's only university-based health system, providing leading-edge patient care powered by groundbreaking research and medical education at the Miller School of Medicine. Our physicians represent over 100 specialties and sub-specialties, with more than one million patient encounters each year.

Responsibilities:
As a Patient Navigator, you will facilitate patients' ability to obtain services by identifying barriers to care, coordinating treatment plans, and monitoring implementation and follow-up of services ordered by caregivers. Your duties will include conducting patient evaluations, ensuring patients have access to insurance and social service programs, providing reminders of upcoming appointments, and resolving real or perceived barriers to care.

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need a High School diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience. Experience in a medical office or hospital setting is preferred. You must be able to process and handle confidential information, communicate effectively in both oral and written form, and maintain effective interpersonal relationships.
