Job Overview

Work Schedule: Wednesday to Sunday, starting at 6 AM

Position Summary:

  • Diagnose and resolve equipment issues while executing timely repairs and preventive maintenance.
  • Overhaul existing machinery and install new systems as required.
  • Complete assigned work orders efficiently.
  • Disassemble malfunctioning machines and replace or repair components.
  • Maintain cleanliness and lubrication of machinery parts including shafts, bearings, and gears.
  • Design, assemble, and maintain piping systems along with hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, ensuring gauges, valves, and pressure regulators are functional.
  • Set up and operate machine tools such as lathes, grinders, drills, and milling machines for the repair or fabrication of machine components.
  • Utilize cutting torches or welding equipment for metal part assembly or repair.
  • Provide immediate preventive and corrective maintenance support to production lines and facilitate necessary changeovers.
  • Engage in basic fabrication and contribute to special projects as needed.
  • Utilize mechanical skills encompassing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of production machinery.
  • Interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform essential maintenance and services.
  • Identify issues, replace or repair parts, and conduct tests and adjustments on equipment.
  • Adhere to Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) protocols.
  • Follow Lock-out/Tag-out (LOTO) procedures when servicing equipment.

Required Skills:

  • Proficient in reading electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics.
  • Capable of troubleshooting electrical systems including 24 volt, 120 volt, and 480 volt.
  • Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Able to stand for extended periods, work in confined spaces, and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Collaborative team player, willing to support fellow mechanics in achieving objectives.
  • Availability for overtime and weekend work as needed.
  • Basic proficiency in computer applications such as Excel, Outlook, and Word.
