Role Summary:
We are pleased to announce an opportunity for a Senior Speech-Language Pathologist to join our esteemed team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech-language pathology services under the guidance of the Department Head.
- Develop, implement, and assess individualized treatment plans based on evolving communication needs.
- Utilize clinical and psycho-social data to create effective treatment strategies, ensuring they align with patient goals.
- Conduct both group and individual therapy sessions, fostering a supportive environment for patient engagement.
- Maintain meticulous documentation of patient interactions and treatment progress, adhering to departmental protocols.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive patient care and communication.
- Engage families in the treatment process, providing education and resources to support communication improvement.
- Stay current with best practices in speech-language pathology to enhance patient outcomes.

Qualifications:
- A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and a valid New York State license.
- Continuing education as mandated by New York State for licensure maintenance.

Preferred Qualifications:
- New York State Certification as a Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD).
