Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the supervision of outside services and starters/marshals to ensure a smooth and enjoyable golf experience for our customers.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees, management, and all members of the public to promote a positive and welcoming environment.
  • Adhere to the established policies and procedures of the Municipal Golf Association to ensure compliance and consistency.
  • Assist with all golf services and operations, including the rental and maintenance of golf cars, to ensure a seamless experience for our customers.
  • Answer and direct all incoming calls, taking messages when appropriate, to provide excellent customer service.
  • Assist with the booking of tee times, starting, and monitoring of play to ensure a smooth and efficient golf experience.
  • Track and verify that all players and guests register and facilitate proper controls to maintain accurate records and ensure compliance.
  • Assist all tournament, play day, and clinic directors in the organization of events to ensure a successful and enjoyable experience for our customers.
  • Meet, greet, and welcome prospective customers to promote our facility and services.
  • Adhere to all rules and regulations governing golf course usage to ensure compliance and safety.
  • Assist with the operations of the practice facility to provide a high-quality experience for our customers.
  • Assist in the sale of merchandise and rental of equipment to promote our products and services.
  • Adhere to cash and system controls to ensure the safekeeping of assets and inventory.
  • Assist with physical inventories and the display of merchandise to maintain a visually appealing and well-stocked pro shop.
  • Initiate and implement safety regulations and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Promote sales and golf specials to drive revenue and increase customer engagement.
  • Operate the picker to mechanically retrieve golf balls on the driving range to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Perform marshalling duties when needed to ensure a smooth and efficient golf experience.
  • Maintain compliance with TABC Seller/Server guidelines to ensure responsible service and sales practices.
  • Maintain the Communication Log Book during each shift to ensure accurate records and compliance.
  • Oversee and collect fees for all golf-related activities, clean and restock the pro shop and restrooms, and conduct regular maintenance to ensure a high-quality experience for our customers.

Requirements:

  • Must have a valid state-issued Driver's License.
  • Employer-paid TABC/Texas Food Handler Certification within 2 weeks of employment.
  • Ability to work with others (Teamwork).
  • Available to work varied shifts to include weekends and holidays.

Salary: $13.50 per hour.
