Vaco Senior Epic Analyst II is a pivotal role within our organization, focusing on optimizing healthcare technology and resources. Our firm specializes in Managed Services, Data & Analytics, EHR, ERP, Advisory, Virtual Care, and Cybersecurity services, ensuring that healthcare providers maximize their operational efficiency.

The Senior Epic Analyst II plays a crucial role in the configuration, management, and support of clinical applications within the Epic electronic health record (EHR) software, catering to healthcare clients.

This position involves handling support and maintenance requests, executing routine builds, participating in on-call rotations, and engaging in special projects, including Epic Upgrades, as required by our clients.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the primary analyst for Epic maintenance, configuration, and build processes.
  • Oversee client trouble tickets and requests, ensuring thorough documentation and resolution.
  • Lead application builds for Epic upgrades and manage Nova Note Review and Build.
  • Establish testing protocols and support go-live activities in a command center environment.
  • Identify opportunities for enhancement, mentor junior analysts, and cultivate strong relationships with clients and peers.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a healthcare environment is required.
  • In-depth knowledge of healthcare policies, procedures, and information systems is essential.

Work Environment:
This position is primarily office-based, with potential for hybrid or remote arrangements subject to management approval.

Travel Expectations:
Minimal travel is anticipated, typically less than 5%.

Physical Requirements:
The physical demands of this role include frequent sitting, walking, and coordination of eye/hand/foot movements. Occasional standing and bending may be required, with infrequent lifting of up to 10 pounds.
