MRI Technologist

This is a unique opportunity to join Pinehurst Surgical Clinic PA as an MRI Technologist, where you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional patient care and diagnostic imaging services.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to perform diagnostic procedures for patients using an MRI Machine. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring patient safety, producing high-quality diagnostic images, and providing effective communication with customers, doctors, and other staff members.

1. Patient Safety: Ensure patient safety by pre-screening for contraindications, implementing proper injection techniques, and adhering to infection control protocols.
2. Image Quality: Produce high-quality diagnostic images that meet the highest standards of accuracy and clarity.
3. Supply Management: Order necessary supplies and maintain a clean workspace to ensure efficient operations.
4. Communication: Effectively communicate with customers, doctors, and other staff members to provide excellent customer service.
5. Training: Train new MRI Technologists and support staff to ensure a smooth onboarding process.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications:

• Certification: Graduation from a certified radiologic technology program and current certification as an ARRT(R) or ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT.
• BLS Certification: Current BLS certification is required.

The ideal candidate should be able to:

1. Radiation Exposure: Be exposed to minimal radiation during work hours.
2. Mobility: Stand/walk for up to eight or more hours per day.
3. Physical Abilities: Bend, stoop, twist, assist patients in turning, arising from exam tables, and pushing wheelchairs.

• Organizational Skills: Be well-organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively.

The estimated salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.
