Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Strategic Marketing to join our team. As a key member of our Marketing team, you will be responsible for overseeing paid, earned, and owned media strategy and planning, managing the total marketing budget, and leading the new store and menu project management with a cross-functional team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic marketing initiatives for the brand
  • Oversee and manage marketing budget for overall brand fund
  • Develop, plan, and execute paid, earned, and owned media to effectively maximize ROI in parallel with paid media agency
  • Responsible for consumer PR, crisis communications, and PR agency lead
  • Lead collaboration with R&D, supply chain, operations, and marketing for menu project management
  • Build and maintain franchisee education through quarterly webinars and best practice rollouts
  • Oversee new store and grand opening marketing support, including developing impactful emerging and growth market plans
  • Conduct market research and analyze market trends to identify opportunities for growth
  • Define target audiences and develop marketing campaigns that resonate with them
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align marketing objectives with overall business goals
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of marketing campaigns and adjust strategies as needed
  • Lead a team of marketing professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure successful implementation of marketing initiatives
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Mass Communication, Public Relations, Business, or a related field
  • 7+ years of experience in a relevant level role in the QSR industry or fast-casual brand opening 50+ locations annually
  • Proficient in Google Suite, Microsoft Office 365, Canva, Social Media Platforms
  • Excellent communication, presentation, collaboration, and relationship-building skills
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask and prioritize under deadlines
  • Strategic thinker with an eye for creativity and deep understanding of marketing principles
  • Superior communication skills with an emphasis on building partnerships, outstanding leadership, and mentoring approach, and ability to remain flexible in an ever-changing business landscape
  • Demonstrated ability to be highly organized with the ability to handle multiple projects at once
  • Willingness to travel quarterly or as needed
