Lead Loss Prevention Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Loss Prevention Officer to join our team at Marriott. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our guests and employees.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct key control audits and monitor electronic key boxes to ensure the safekeeping of master keys, radios, and beepers.
- Patrol all areas of the property to prevent and respond to security incidents.
- Monitor Closed Circuit Televisions and alarm systems to detect potential security threats.
- Respond to accidents, contact emergency services as needed, and administer first aid/CPR if required.
- Assist guests and employees during emergency situations and notify appropriate individuals in the event of accidents or incidents.
- Complete incident reports to document all Security/Loss Prevention related incidents.
- Resolve safety hazard situations and escort unwelcome persons from the property.
- Report to scenes of vehicle accidents/thefts and call for assistance using proper code responses.
- Complete a Loss Prevention shift summary/daily activity report and maintain confidentiality of all reports/documents.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- No related work experience required, but a strong desire to learn and grow in a dynamic environment.
- No supervisory experience required, but a willingness to take on additional responsibilities.
- No license or certification required, but a commitment to ongoing learning and development.
