Job Overview

This is a role within our accounting department, focused on performing day-to-day tasks and month-end closing procedures. Responsibilities include cash and customer billings, assisting with accounts payable and payroll, and interfacing with senior management and project managers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review job packages for completeness and prepare cost reports.
  • Prepare customer invoices and upload billing data to customer databases.
  • Track jobs not turned in for billing and follow up with project managers.
  • Contact customers regarding payment.
  • Post customer payments to account.
  • Prepare/submit payments to bank for deposit.
  • Reconcile cash accounts daily.
  • Assist/accounts payable desk.
  • Three-way match and resolve issues.
  • Review account classification of purchase orders.
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts at month end and prepare/post journal entries.
  • Payroll preparation and post journal entries.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED; degree/certification in related field.
  • 5 years related experience.
  • Financial Management skills.
  • Project Management skills.
  • Personal Effectiveness/Credibility.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills.
