**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Intern to join our team. This 12-week internship program provides hands-on experience in corporate accounting, with opportunities to participate in various events and projects.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Assist the accounting team with tasks and responsibilities similar to those of a new entry-level staff accountant.
  • Gain an overall understanding of our company's financial operations and participate in the monthly financial statement close process.
  • Develop an understanding of corporate accounting functions, including billing, procurement, project costing, cash application, and credit extension and collection.
  • Assist in creating, reviewing, and analyzing monthly financial income statement reports.
  • Be responsible for scheduling and reconciling accounts while learning about the balance sheet statement.
  • Develop software skills in PeopleSoft and Oracle EPM systems.

**Requirements**

  • Candidate must be a full-time enrolled college student pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
