Responsibilities:

Requirements:
  1. A Master's degree and certification by a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner certifying body is required.
  2. BLS certification is mandatory.
  3. Clinical experience in emergency medicine, urgent care, or ambulatory care is preferred.
Knowledge and Skills:
  1. Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to meet quality standards and evaluate customer satisfaction.
  2. Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws and regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA.
  3. Proficiency in computerized information systems, including EMR.
  4. Understanding of relevant drugs, patient care aids, and medical evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment principles.
Expectations:
  1. Work collaboratively with other providers and healthcare practitioners to efficiently treat patients and plan coordinated dispositions.
  2. Prepare clear, complete, and accurate medical records for each patient under your care.
  3. Devote additional time as needed to attend to patients, complete paperwork, and perform administrative duties.
  4. Work collaboratively with other ConvenientMD-employed practitioners to develop daily work schedules, vacation time, and on-call schedules.
  5. Represent and promote the Centers' practice in all public and professional meetings, conferences, and interactions.
  6. Conduct yourself in a professional manner, communicate with others in a timely and respectful manner, and cooperate with colleagues and staff to facilitate high-quality patient care.
Physical Requirements:
  1. Ability to stand and sit for hours at a time, with some bending and stooping required.
  2. Manual dexterity for clinical requirements.
  3. Lift up to 50lbs.
