The Speech Therapy/Audiology division at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center is dedicated to providing comprehensive evaluations and treatments for patients of all ages. Our team of audiologists and speech therapists work together to diagnose and treat a variety of hearing and speech disorders.
We are seeking an Audiologist with strong patient/customer service experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree or doctorate in audiology, certification in audiology or hearing conservation, and basic computer skills using Microsoft Office programs.
Responsibilities:
- Provide Otoacoustic Emissions (OAE) and Auditory Brainstem Response (ABR) screening for patients in the Well Baby Nursery and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
- Perform clerical responsibilities and patient scheduling.
Requirements:
- Master's degree or doctorate in audiology.
- Certification in audiology or hearing conservation.
- Basic computer skills using Microsoft Office programs.
- Organized, attentive to detail, and possess a positive, friendly and professional demeanor.
