Job Title: Diesel Mechanic Technician

Ryder System is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic Technician to join our team in Annapolis Junction, MD. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine preventative maintenance, diagnosing mechanical and electronic problems, and repairing heavy-duty vehicles.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform standard vehicle maintenance and repairs
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electronic problems
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance, including oil changes, brake and tire work
  • Interact with customers and drivers to determine the nature of complaints
  • Utilize Shop Management System and electronic documentation
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Vocational or technical certification preferred
  • Basic tools required
  • Demonstrated aptitude and experience in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines
  • Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class A preferred
