Senior Research Associate, Formulation Specialist in Gene Editing

Job DescriptionAs a Senior Research Associate, Formulation Specialist in Gene Editing, you will play a pivotal role in our team, leveraging your expertise in LNP formulation and characterization to drive innovation in gene editing. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Formulation and Characterization: Develop and optimize LNP formulations, utilizing dynamic light scattering, ribogreen, and other cutting-edge techniques to elucidate the interactions between LNPs and serum proteins;
- Research and Development: Collaborate with colleagues to design and execute experiments, exploring new LNP characterization tools and their utility in rational design of LNP systems;
- Communication: Effectively communicate research findings with internal and external partners, including stakeholders from academia, industry, and government;
- Lab Management: Assist in maintaining laboratory functionality, including equipment maintenance and supply management.
We are seeking an exceptional candidate with:
- MS or BS with 3+ years of experience in lipid-based delivery systems and formulation;
- Prior experience with LNP formulation and characterization;
- Experience with protein characterization methods (purification methods, ELISA, etc.);
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills;
- Organized and detail-oriented with a proven track record of independent thinking and innovative problem-solving.
