Job Title: Assistant Electrical Project Manager

Gpac is a nationwide executive search firm specializing in connecting premier electrical contractors and industry professionals. We are currently conducting a search for an Assistant Electrical Project Manager on behalf of our confidential client.

Job Summary:

The Assistant Electrical Project Manager will play a vital role in supporting the successful execution of projects and ensuring client satisfaction. Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with the project team to deliver high-quality results within scope, on time, and within budget.
  • Assisting in driving division profitability through effective project management.
  • Supporting project planning, scheduling, procurement, and contractual requirements.
  • Evaluating and enhancing departmental processes to meet customer needs and profitability goals.
  • Providing mentorship and guidance to team members, including direct reports.
  • Ensuring compliance with contractual requirements and project-specific methodologies.
  • Monitoring project schedules and adapting to changing priorities and customer requirements.
  • Engaging with clients to understand and fulfill their expectations.
  • Overseeing third-party construction firms when required.
  • Participating in the project review process, particularly in financial forecasting.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate for the Assistant Electrical Project Manager role should possess the following qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in project management, particularly in electrical construction.
  • Field experience in coordination with construction management.
  • Proficiency in project scheduling, estimating, change orders, and contracts.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop relationships and contribute to project acquisition.
  • Strong skills in running a profitable portfolio.
  • Exceptional communication abilities, both written and verbal.
  • Strong analytical, motivational, and leadership skills.
  • Possession of a Journeyman or Master Electrician's license is a plus.
