Electrical Project Engineer

IMEG Corp is seeking a skilled Electrical Project Engineer to join our team in Seattle, WA. As an Electrical Project Engineer, you will lead design efforts for low to moderate complexity projects and collaborate with senior staff for larger and high complexity projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead design efforts for electrical systems, utilizing engineering software and tools to create detailed designs, specifications, and calculations according to code requirements and IMEG standards.
  • Interact with clients to understand their needs, gather project requirements, and communicate technical information effectively.
  • Work as part of a project team to support the execution of consulting projects, including project planning, budgeting, and scheduling tasks to meet project deadlines and objectives.
  • Analyze engineering problems and propose innovative solutions, collaborating with senior engineers and consultants to develop practical and efficient solutions.
  • Provide in-process design reviews of electrical system design, calculations, and specifications, implementing IMEG quality control processes to ensure that engineering designs and solutions meet IMEG quality standards, industry standards, and client requirements.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent required.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) License required.
  • 4 years of experience minimum required in the building design consulting industry.
